Contact Star Budapest

How to send a correction, ask a guide question or share a documented change with Star Budapest.

The short version

What matters

  • Corrections are most useful when they include a page, claim and source.
  • Do not send sensitive personal information.
  • This launch version has no public contact form or inbox configured.

01

Before you write

The most actionable note identifies the page, quotes the sentence or fact, explains what is no longer accurate, and links to the operator or public institution that documents the change. This is particularly valuable for transport conditions, temporary closures and access details.

Please avoid sending passport numbers, booking references, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal data. A city guide rarely needs it, and it does not make a correction easier to verify.

02

What this route can handle

Use the contact route for factual corrections, broken links, access barriers on the site itself, and editorial questions that have a clear public-information basis. Suggestions are welcome when they include enough context to assess why a place or route helps a visitor.

Do not rely on Star Budapest for real-time emergency, police, medical or transport-control assistance. In an emergency in Hungary, use 112. For a live transit decision, use BKK’s current journey-planning and service information instead of waiting for editorial correspondence.

03

Current contact status

The launch build does not yet expose a public email address or form endpoint. That is deliberate: it is better to state the limitation plainly than to collect messages without a secure, monitored delivery path. When a channel is configured, this page will name the purpose, handling rules and expected response window.

Until then, use the source pages linked throughout the guide for urgent operator questions, and treat this page as the documented correction policy rather than a promise of a live support desk.
